10 Jun SRS Co-Founder Norman Scarfe’s D-Day Letters

The late Suffolk historian and Suffolk Records Society co-founder and president Norman Scarfe was attached to the Suffolk Regiment First Battalion during the Second World War. This newspaper clipping from the Daily Telegraph last week (June 2019)  is a letter written by Paul Fincham and shows extracts from letters he wrote to his parents during the D-Day landings.  A similar article can be found in the East Anglian Daily Times on the 6th June 2019.
