Membership
The Suffolk Records Society warmly welcomes new members. Your membership supports our mission to promote Suffolk’s history and helps make the county’s written archives accessible to a wider audience, not just in Suffolk, but around the world. To join the Suffolk Records Society either add the product below to your cart, or you can print the forms at the bottom of the page and send them to the Membership Secretary.
Membership to the Suffolk Records Society costs:
- Individual - £15 per annum if paying via standing order, £16.50 per annum if you pay via our website.
- Libraries, universities, businesses and those living abroad - £17 [£18] (UK Only), £20 [£21.50] (Rest of World).
Your membership fee includes a copy of the current volume of the Suffolk Records Society volume due in that subscription period, an invitation to the annual AGM and Book Launch, and reduced purchase prices for both General Series books and Charter Series books already in Publication. At the AGM you have the opportunity to vote for council members who run the society as volunteers and discuss upcoming proposals and enjoy an exclusive talk by that year's volume editor.
To set up a Standing Order (£15 or £20 per annum), and make recurring payments for your annual subscription, please print and fill out the following forms and send them to the Membership Secretary:

If you prefer to do this just online, using online banking, please contact the membership secretary at
Cancellation: We just ask that you please contact the Membership Secretary to let them know so we can remove you from our mailing list, this not only saves you receiving emails you no longer want or need, it also saves times for our volunteers who write and send you those emails. If you have set up a standing order to pay for your membership on a recurring basis can you please cancel your standing order directly with your bank (we cannot do this for you). If you do not, the payment will continue to pay on an annual basis until you do.
